This version of the C14 MicroFocuser will fit both the Edge HD and new-style non-HD 14" SCTs from Celestron. The "new-style" non-HD C14s have the same style rear cell as the Edge HD models. This rear cell has the molded 3-lobed pattern and cooling vents. "Old-style" C14s are earlier models with the ribbed rear cell.
The Starlight Instruments SCT MicroFocuser provides the smoothest control for fine focusing. Two focus knobs allows for standard or 1/10th-speed focusing, making the MicroFocuser extremely accurate. Excellent for both imaging or visual observing, this focuser is precision-machined and anodized black with a brass fine-focus knob.
The SCT MicroFocuser is easily installed in place of the original focus knob on Celestron Edge HD 14" SCTs. A built-in stop prevents the primary mirror from detaching from the focuser.
